A: if you have played something else, it shouldn't be too hard. Horn is all about hearing the pitches before you play. Open valves can yield G C E G B C D E G. You have to know where you are going when you play a note. This is why its so hard for beginners. If you really want to do it buy yourself a Farkas MC mouthpiece. It should be $40-50 but it is a quality mouthpiece that will not handicap your learning like a cheap one might.
